Vote! Vote! Vote!

Today is election day here in the United States. If you are eligible to vote, then I urge you to do so. Your vote counts. You have no idea how much it counts. I did not start voting regularly until I was 25 — but I should have. It’s one of my biggest regrets that I did not take advantage of the rights I’d been born with to make my voice and my beliefs heard in my country. We are given an amazing opportunity in this country to take part in our government. Even in America, people have had to fight for the vote. Women were imprisoned, tortured, and beaten for wanting to vote fewer than a hundred years ago. Don’t let the suffering of those who came before us be in vain. Exercise your right to vote today.
