momentary palpitations

So my computer froze last night, and then it was fine, and then it froze again. And then I hard booted it and it wouldn’t restart. And I freaked out.

I have a Mac, so all of this crashing and freezing and stuff is pretty scary, because it’s not usual. Now, to be honest, I hadn’t rebooted the machine in a while — a long while — but I was very concerned. I let it sit for half an hour and tried again. Nothing.

I went to sleep, woke up this morning, and booted the darn thing up just fine.

There, there, baby. It’s all right. My little white iBookums. Who’s a good ‘puter? *You’re* a good ‘puter! Yes you are. Yessss, yoooouuu, arrrree.
